Now that Keweenaw Co-Op has settled into its new home in downtown Hancock. Many have wondered what will happen with the former location on Ethel Street. The Keweenaw Co-Op recently announced it plans to sell the site at 1035 Ethel Avenue in Hancock. The Keweenaw Cooperative Incorporate will begin accepting proposals from real estate brokerage firms to market and sell its former grocery store location. The Cooperative believes the sale of the Ethel Avenue property holds grand potential for the community as a commercial building near residential areas. The Co-op commits to a transparent sale process with prospective buyers for the site. The Keweenaw Co-Op will accept requests for proposals until March 17th.
