Throughout March the Copper Country Community Arts Center celebrates young artists. March for the local community arts center celebrates Youth Arts Month. Throughout the month visitors can stop in and view artistic works by local youth.
Starting on Saturday the Copper Country Community Arts Center will open the annual exhibit in the Youth Gallery and Kerredge Gallery. The exhibit 2025 artists include youth from Baraga High School, CLK Schools at each level, local home school students, Houghton Portage Township Schools, Jeffers High School, South Range Elementary, Hancock Public Schools, and Dollar Bay Tamarack City schools.
On Saturday the Copper Country Youth Arts exhibit will host an opening reception. Attendees can meet several of the local artists while at the Copper Country Community Arts Center, and learn about other local art from art teachers working in area school districts. The Copper Country Community Arts Center youth arts exhibit gallery reception will begin at noon on March 8th.
