Lake Linden-Hubbell’s Emily Jokela has been named Player of the Year for the Copper Mountain Conference.
Ewen-Trout Creek’s Bree Besonen was named Defensive Player of the Year. Ewen’s Jackie Besonen was honored as Coach of the Year, and the Panthers as Team of the Year.
Joining Besonen on the All-Conference Dream Team are Kara Roberts from Baraga, Cleo Milkey from Lake Linden-Hubbell, Brooklyn Dompier from L’Anse, and Irelynd McGeshick from Ewen-Trout Creek.
Jeffers’ Taylor Heinonen joined Jokela, Roberts Dompier and Milkey on the Copper Country Division First Team.
The Copper Country Division Second Team includes Mya Hendrickson from Baraga, Evelyn Moilanen from Dollar Bay-Tamarack City, Mian Nordstrom from Jeffers, Paige Danison from Chassell, and Kwynn Voskuhl and Mylee Londo from L’Anse.
Copper Country Division Honorable mention votes went to Dollar Bay’s Aubrey Karppinen, Lake Linden’s Payton Goldsworthy, and Baraga’s Megan Mayo.
Bessemer’s Audrey Stone, Ironwood’s Jaylyn Novascone and Ewen’s Emma Besonen were included on the Porcupine Mountain Division First Team, along with Bree Besonen and McGeshick.
Porcupine Mountain Division Second Team members include Emma Choronzy and Emily DelFavero from Wakefield-Marenisco, Hanna Vaughn from Ironwood, and Kylee Uotilla and Alli Bobula from Ontonagon.
Porcupine Mountain Division Honorable Mention Votes went to Kenly Anderson and Carine Cole from Wakefield, McKayla Basel from Ewen-Trout Creek, and Alana Barajas from Watersmeet.
