Fire crews respond to a house fire in Carp Lake Township on Sunday. The Ontoangon Volunteer Fire Department was called to assist the Carp Lake Township Fire Department with the structure fire around 3 pm on Sunday. Carp Lake Firefighters found the structure engulfed in flames, including the garage with multiple gas cans. A natural gas line was also on fire upon arrival at the scene. Ontonagon Volunteers located and shut off the natural gas line to the home. Crews initiated a primary search of the structure, and an all-clear was given. Crews were able to snuff out the fire in under 20 minutes. No injuries have been reported.
