Many writers know how hard it can be to start publishing their work. Several authors live and work in the Upper Peninsula. Which has helped foster a community of creative people. This evening three Upper Peninsula self-published authors will make up for yesterday’s event canceled for weather conditions, to share their experiences and help others navigate the publishing world. R. Aveen, Isaan Flint, and Stephanie Flint have each published young adult books, and want to help other aspiring writers learn how to make connections. The YA Authors event at the Portage Lake District library will introduce each author, and allow them to share their writing process, and how they took ideas from a notepad and turned it into a physical book. Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions about self-publishing, and the vast network of publishing opportunities. The panel will begin at 5 pm.
