We have been working with local partner agencies and communities around the UP and in our area to make sure that we can continue to provide you with the best services and snow removal services and sanitation services that we can offer. I will have more information for you once we can assess the situation.
Please make sure to watch Facebook and the Village website as we will continue to provide updates regarding the Public Works Department.
As for garbage removal services on Thursday, please know that we are going to do the best that we can. However, it is unlikely that we are going to be doing garbage removal services until we get a plan put into place. Again, if you have any questions, please contact the Laurium Village Hall. Thank you. – Ian Lewis, Village Manager, Village of Laurium
The building’s roof appears to have suffered significant damage. An official report from the Lauirum police department has not been released at this time.
