Visit Keweenaw’s Executive Director earns a leadership position on the Michigan Association of Convention and Visitor’s Bureaus board of directors.
Recently the MACVB announced Visit Keweenaw’s Brad Barnett will take on the Vice President role for the board of directors. Barnett was added to the Michigan Association of Convention and Visitor Bureaus in 2023. Through his position as the Vice president for the MACVB, Barnett will champion Michigan’s tourism and travel industry, while ensuring the Upper Peninsula’s destinations have a seat at the table for statewide discussions.
Barnett says he’s honored to take on a leadership position. Additionally, he has learned a lot over his time as a general member and looks forward to collaborating with MACVB members to move the state’s tourism industry forward. The Michigan Association of Convention and Visitor Bureaus is a collective of destination marketing organizations that advocate for the travel industry.
