Glenda Jean (Nash) Tambellini, 78 of Calumet, MI, passed away at Our Lady of Mercy in Hubbell, MI on Jan. 22, 2025.
She was born on October 23 rd, 1946 to William and Glenna Nash in Newberry, MI.
She attended Paradise High School and later attended night classes at Calumet High School to receive her GED. She was employed by Houghton County Medical Care Facility for 25 years.
Glenda loved to cook. She was always trying new recipes and sharing her creations with family members.She also loved to read. Even with her failing eyesight, she found ways to continue reading with magnifying glasses or increasing the font size on her tablet. She also loved her cats, Trixie, Suki, Missy, Lucy, Snickers and Oreo. Her greatest love was being a grandma and a great grandma. They were the light of her life.
Glenda was preceded in death by her parents, an infant son William Menominee, her siblings, Margaret Maskus, Marylin Morrison and Elwin Nash.
Glenda is survived by her children, David Menominee of Lac LaBelle, Tracy (David) Wood of Calumet & Kristi (Jim) Ramseyer of Bay City MI. Siblings, Edna Van Kregten of WA and William Nash of Paradise MI.
Grandchildren, Alyssa (Zack) Fredin, Tyler Wood, Trevor Wood and Allison (Ryan) Zajeski. Great grandchildren, Carson, Axl, Rowan Mylan and Colton.
Cremation has taken place.
