The Pistons dropped a 133-119 shootout to the Pacers last night. Cade Cunningham scored 32 points.

NFL
The success of the Lions continues to propel their assistant coaches into better jobs. Tight ends coach Steve Heiden is leaving the team. He’ll become the offensive line coach for the Jets, working under their new head coach, former Detroit defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn. Lions passing game coordinator Tanner Engstrand is reported to be a leading candidate to become the Jets’ offensive coordinator.
MLB
The Tigers have signed reliever Tommy Kahnle to a one-year contract. Kahnle compiled a 2.11 ERA in 50 games with the Yankees last season. To make room on the roster, Detroit designated pitcher Alex Faedo for assignment.
Former Brewers starter Wade MIley has signed a minor league deal with the Reds. He’s recovering from Tommy John ligament replacement surgery, and won’t be ready for the start of the season.
