Michigan state police UPSET bust a methamphetamine lab in Mastodon Township. Last week the Michigan state police upper peninsula substance enforcement team announced it executed a warrant following a several month-long investigation, on a residence in Mastadon Township on Wednesday. UPSET seized various chemicals used in the manufacture of meth and finished products. Some chemicals seized by officers included substances such as lye, solvents, lithium metal, sulfuric acid, and salt. Michigan state police say both suspects have been lodged in the Iron County jail on methamphetamine manufacturing charges. No other information has been released at this time.
