The Copper Country is filling up with snow. Next month Houghton will move some of the snow from around the city onto Huron Street.
Jibba Jabba’s return to Houghton in 2023 brought another exciting event to the downtown area. And has even brought in professional snowboarders and extreme sports companies.
In 2025 Red Bull plans to return to the Keweenaw Peninsula for a third year. Jibba Jabba has confirmed that 35 men and women will drop in on Huron Street to show off fantastic flying tricks down the street. The event includes an electric atmosphere with the crowd reacting to creative snowboarders making the most out of the small freestyle course.
Jibba Jabba preparations will begin with the city dropping off snow on Huron Street on February 14th. Then the full competition starts in the evening on the 15th.
