Carol worked as a nurse’s aid and in the laundry room at Canal View.
Carol loved to play piano and video games.
Carol is preceded in death by her parents Rudolph and Gertrude, her first husband Daniel Thames, second husband Dennis Kangas, and her baby brother Billy.
Carol is survived by her son Dennis Thames and his wife Pamela, Brother Rudolph Strom and his wife Sharon, and several nieces and nephews.
A burial for Carol will take place in spring 2025.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Copper Country Humane Society in honor of Carol.
