With sadness we announce the passing of Marlin Keith Wenberg, beloved husband, father, uncle and friend, in Dollar Bay, Michigan who passed away peacefully at home on December 23, 2024 at the age of 74. Born on July 18, 1950 to Martin and Esther (nee Nordbeck). He was a graduate of Dollar Bay High School in 1968. Marlin was known for his love of God, hunting, fishing, and his mechanical abilities. He was a very generous and giving person. He was employed at Vollwerth’s until starting his own business, Wenberg Repair, which is now Ward’s Husqvarna. He worked six summers at Gitche Gumee Bible Camp and was an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara, two sons, Edward (Stephanie) and Michael (Nicole), brothers Robert and Glenn (Dianne). Marlin was preceded in death by his parents Martin and Esther, brother Gary, and sister Sheryl. He was very loved and will be greatly missed.
A memorial service will be held on January 4, 2025 at 1:00pm at the Erickson-Crowley-Peterson Funeral Home.
