Michigan Tech freshman guard Tommy Lucca has been selected as the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference North Division Basketball Player of the Week. Lucca scored 53 in the Huskies’ games against Tiffin and Ashland. At 18.4 points per game, he is fifth in the GLIAC in scoring.
After its weekend split with 12th-ranked Notre Dame, the Michigan Tech hockey team is back in the national rankings. The Huskies were voted 20th in this week’s USCHO poll.
