High School
High school hockey resumes today, as the MacInnes Holiday Tournament opens. Houghton faces Jeffers in the first semifinal at 2:00, and Calumet will take on Hancock in the second semifinal at 4:00. The consolation game will be played tomorrow afternoon at 2:00, followed by the championship match at 4:00. The Calumet-Hancock result will also be used to decide the winner of the total-goals Copper Island Classic, which ended in a 6-6 tie in November. Hear all four games on KBear 102.3 and KBear102.com.

The Portage Lake Pioneers visit the Calumet Wolverines tonight. Faceoff is at 7:30 at the Colosseum.

The Detroit Red Wings return to the ice tonight, when they skate at Nashville.

In tonight’s NFL game, Washington visits Philadelphia. Kickoff is at 8:25 on AM 1400 and FM 99.3, WCCY.
Tomorrow, the Detroit Lions entertain the San Francisco 49ers in a 1:00 game. Hear the broadcast on AM 1400 and FM 99.3, WCCY. The Green Bay Packers visit the Arizona Cardinals for a 4:25 game.
