The Detroit Red Wings suffered a 2-1 overtime loss to the Carolina Panthers yesterday afternoon. Dylan Larkin scored the Wings’ only goal, and Petr Mrazek made 30 saves. The Detroit Tigers have reportedly signed starting pitcher Jordan Zimmermann. Several media outlets are saying it’s a five-year deal worth 110-million dollars. Zimmerman is 29, and has spent his entire career with the Washington Nationals. He underwent Tommy John surgery five years ago, but has averaged more than 30 starts and nearly 200 innings per season since that. Last year, he was 13-10 with a 3.66 ERA.
