In 31 games with the Isles last season, he compiled a 16-9-4 record, a 2.74 goals-against average and a .913 save percentage. Griess will share netminding responsibilities with Jonathan Bernier.

The Vikings visit the Seahawks in tonight’s contest. Coverage begins at 7:30 on 99.3 The Lift.

Neither the Titans nor the Patriots reported any new COVID-19 positives yesterday, and both teams returned to their facilities to prepare for upcoming games. The Patriots’ game against the Broncos has been moved to tomorrow, and will start at 5:00. The Titans’ match against the Bills is still scheduled for Tuesday.

If the Bills do play Tuesday, their scheduled Thursday night game against the Chiefs will be moved back to next weekend. That will leave the league without a Thursday night contest next week.

Our high school football coverage resumes Friday, when Hancock hosts Calumet. Coverage will begin at 6:40 on KBear 102.3 and KBear102.com. We’ll also cover Houghton, Hancock and Calumet in the opening round of the WestPAC volleyball tournament Saturday, beginning at 9:40 on KBear 102.3.
