An examination of Detroit pitcher Matthew Boyd’s left elbow has revealed no structural damage. Doctors are calling it tendinitis. He’ll begin a rehab program, and is expected to be sidelined for around four weeks. Starter Spencer Turnbull is also expected to be out at least until mid-July, as he recovers from a forearm strain.

Detroit has activated catcher Grayson Greiner from the injured list, and assigned him to Toledo. Pitcher Erasmo Ramirez has also been assigned to Toledo for a rehab stint.

C.J. Cron singled home the winning run off Devin Williams in the bottom of the 10th inning, as the Colorado Rockies edged the Milwaukee Brewers 6-5 last evening. Corbin Burnes wasn’t sharp, giving up eight hits before leaving in the sixth inning. He was charged with four runs. Luis Urías homered.

The Brewers visit the Rockies again tonight. Adrian Houser will start against Austin Gomber.

Second baseman Kolton Wong rejoined the Brewers last night, after spending time on the injured list. Milwaukee also brought up right-hander Zack Godley from Triple-A Nashville.
