MLB – McCann Powers Tigers to Late Win
James McCann’s home run in the ninth inning yesterday lifted the Detroit Tigers to a 5-4 victory over the Chicago White Sox. The Tigers tied the game with four runs in the eighth, powered by a bases-loaded double by Victor Martinez. It was the first time in 31 games this season that Detroit earned a victory after trailing in the seventh inning.
