The Milwaukee Brewers stopped the New York Mets’ nine game winning streak with a 5-1 victory yesterday. Chase Anderson pitched into the seventh inning, allowing a run on just two hits. Jonathan Villar, Jett Bandy and Orlando Arcia homered for Milwaukee.

The Brewers conclude that series in New York against the Mets this afternoon. Jhoulys Chacin will pitch against Noah Syndergaard.

Finlandia
The Finlandia University baseball team’s doubleheader at the University of Chicago yesterday was postponed because of bad weather. Those games have been rescheduled to today.
