Former Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford joined rookies at the Los Angeles Rams training camp.

The Green Bay Packers also opened training camp over the weekend, with no sign of quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Team veterans are scheduled to report tomorrow. Rodgers has said he wishes to play for another team, and recently turned down a contract extension that reportedly would have made him the highest-paid player in football.
