The Detroit Tigers have now lost the last 20 games they’ve played against the Cleveland Indians. Cleveland claimed Sunday’s contest 8-5. Starter Michael Fulmer gave up three runs before leaving in the third inning. The Indians broke open a 4-4 tie with three runs off John Schreiber in the sixth. Miguel Cabrera had two hits and drove in three runs for Detroit, but his season average remains at just .188.

The Milwaukee Brewers won their third straight Sunday, slipping past the Chicago Cubs 6-5. Josh Lindblom spotted Chicago a three-run lead in the first, but settled in to complete five innings. Keston Hiura tied the game with a three-run homer in the third. Orlando Arcia hit a two-run shot, and Ryan Braun singled home the game-winner in the seventh.
The Brewers are off today, and open a series at Minnesota Tuesday night. Corbin Burnes will pitch against Kenta Maeda.
The Cincinnati Reds continue to undergo COVID-19 testing, after a player was diagnosed last week. Their weekend series against the Pittsburgh Pirates was called off, and a make-up doubleheader scheduled for today has also been canceled.
