The Tigers visit the Royals tonight. Detroit has not designated a starter. Seth Lugo will go for Kansas City. Because of NFL football on 99.3 The Lift, Tigers coverage will begin at 7:15 on KBear 102.3.

The Twins also won, so the Tigers remain two-and-a-half games back in the race for the final American League wild card playoff berth.

The Diamondbacks scored three runs in the bottom of the 10th inning, and edged the Brewers 11-10 yesterday. The outburst against Jared Koenig came after Milwaukee had scored twice in the top of the inning. Starter DL Hall also struggled, allowing five runs over just three frames. Jackson Chourio and Eric Haase homered.

The Brewers entertain the Phillies tonight. Aaron Civale will pitch against Ranger Suárez.
