In NBA tournament second-round play last night…
• The Bucks shut down the Nets 104-89. That series is tied 3-3.

Tonight…
• The Hawks host the 76ers. Atlanta leads that series 3-2.
• The Clippers welcome the Jazz. L-A leads that set 3-2.

NHL

In the Stanley Cup semifinals last evening…
• The Lightning shaded the Islanders 2-1. Tampa Bay leads that series 2-1.

Tonight…
• The Canadiens host the Golden Knights. That set is tied 1-1.

MLB

Matt Manning pitched well in his major league debut last night, but the Detroit Tigers fell to the Los Angeles Angels 7-5. Manning gave up two runs on four hits over five innings. L-A took control with five runs off Kyle Funkhauser in the seventh inning. Funkhauser faced seven batters, retired just one, and gave up a grand slam to Taylor Ward. Jonathan Schoop homered for Detroit.

The Tigers continue that series against the Angels in Los Angeles tonight. José Ureña will pitch against Alex Cobb. Coverage will begin at 9:15 on 99.3 The Lift.

The Colorado Rockies scored five runs in the first inning, and cruised past the Milwaukee Brewers 7-3 last evening. Brandon Woodruff surrendered two home runs, including a grand slam to C.J. Cron. Luis Urías’ bases loaded double in the seventh inning provided all of Milwaukee’s runs.

The Brewers visit the Rockies again tonight. Corbin Burnes will start against Antonio Senzatela.

Milwaukee has activated outfielder Derek Fisher off the injured list, and sent utility player Tim Lopes down to Nashville.
