NFL

In advance of yesterday’s trade deadline, the Lions bolstered their receiver corps by obtaining former Michigan wide receiver Donovan Peoples-Jones from the Browns. Scrambling to replace injured quarterback Kirk Cousins, the Vikings have picked up signal caller Josh Dobbs from the Cardinals. Dobbs was Arizona’s starter for much of the season, with Kyler Murray recovering from ACL surgery. He was recently demoted in favor of rookie Clayton Tune, with Murray nearly ready to return.
