The Detroit Lions have fired head coach Jim Caldwell. Caldwell’s 36-28 mark masked the fact that only four of those victories came over teams that finished their seasons with winning records. Meanwhile, the Green Bay Packers are looking for a new general manager. After a dozen years at the helm, Ted Thompson is expected to move into another role with the organization. The Packers also need a defensive coordinator, following the firing of Dom Capers yesterday.
