Former Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has reportedly rebuilt his contract with the Jets, and is accepting significantly less money. When New York traded for Rogers, the team modified the deal he had signed with Green Bay, which created a huge salary cap hit for next season. Rogers was owed $110 million over the next two years. The new contract will pay him $75 million guaranteed, and include assurances that he can become a free agent after the 2024 season, if he chooses to continue playing.
