The Las Vegas Raiders have claimed former Detroit Lions tight end Paul Butler off waivers. Butler had spent two seasons on the Raiders’ practice squad before signing earlier this year with Detroit. The Lions cut him earlier this week.

Glover Quinn has become the latest former Lion to express his dissatisfaction with Detroit coach Matt Patricia. In a radio interview on 97.1 The Ticket in Detroit, Quinn called Patricia “arrogant,” and said his approach ripped apart the progress that had been made by former coach Jim Caldwell toward changing the negative atmosphere in the locker room. Quinn’s comments echo those recently made by former Lion Darius Slay. Another former Lion, Damon “Snacks” Harrison, cited philosophical differences with Patricia that led to his desire to leave the Motor City.
