The regular high school volleyball season wrapped up last night…
– Dollar Bay-Tamarack City and Ewen-Trout Creek at Lake Linden-Hubbell – not reported.
– Chassell v Baraga – not reported.
– L’Anse swept Ontonagon 3-0 (25-12, 25-21, 25-22). .
– Jeffers lost to Wakefield-Marenisco 3-1 (24-26, 26-24, 14-25, 20-25).

Finlandia
Maranatha Baptist scored three late goals, and defeated the Finlandia University men’s soccer team 4-1 yesterday. The Lions men’s team plays at Wisconsin-Whitewater tonight.

The Finlandia women’s soccer team plays at Adrian College tonight.

The Finlandia volleyball team hosts the Sisu Classic this weekend. The schedule has changed, because Northland College has dropped out. Finlandia will face Grace Christian University this evening at 5:00 at the Paavo Nurmi Center. Our pregame coverage will begin at 4:40 on 99.3 The Lift and TheLift.com. The Lions will play Rockford University at 7:00 tonight. Tomorrow, Grace Christian will play Rockford at 9:00. Finlandia will take on Grace Christian again at 11:00. The Finlandia football team plays at Adrian College tomorrow.

Both Finlandia hockey teams begin their seasons tomorrow. The women face St. Catherine in Marshfield, Wisconsin. The men play at Wisconsin-River Falls.

The Michigan Tech soccer team wraps up its regular season at home against Northern Michigan University today at 5:00.

The MTU volleyball team concludes its regular season against NMU tonight at 7:00 at the SDC.

The Tech football team plays at Northern Michigan tomorrow at 1:00.

The Huskies hockey team visits the University of Wisconsin for games tonight and tomorrow night.

The NMU hockey team entertains Bemidji State tonight and tomorrow night.

The World Series resumes tonight, as the Dodgers host the Red Sox. Boston leads the Fall Classic two games to none.

NBA
The Detroit Pistons improved to 4-0 on the season by defeating the Cleveland Cavaliers 110-103 last night. Blake Griffin scored 26 points, and Andre Drummond collected 22 rebounds. The Pistons entertain the Boston Celtics tomorrow night. Pregame coverage begins at 6:30 on 99.3 The Lift.

Luke Kennard left last night’s game with a shoulder injury. He’ll be examined today.
