NBA

The Pistons’ record-setting futility streak continued last night, with a 118-112 loss to the Nets. Cade Cunningham led Detroit with 41 points, despite picking up three early fouls. Jalen Duren grabbed 15 rebounds in his first game back after missing eight contests because of an injury. Detroit’s 27th consecutive loss set a new NBA single-season record. One more loss would tie the all-time longest losing streak, set by the 76ers over the course of two seasons.

The Pistons will visit the Celtics tomorrow.
