The Detroit Tigers scored all their runs in the first two innings, then held off an Atlanta Braves split squad 3-2 in Grapefruit League play yesterday. Tyson Ross gave up two runs over five innings. Mikie Mahtook drove in two runs. The Tigers will split their squad for games against the Baltimore Orioles and the Toronto Blue Jays this afternoon. The Milwaukee Brewers overcame an early five-run deficit to edge the Los Angeles Dodgers 9-8 in Cactus League action yesterday. Starter Zach Davies couldn’t make it through the third inning, and was charged with six runs. The Brewers have today off, and will face the Texas Rangers tomorrow.
