Both Michigan Tech basketball teams welcome Wisconsin-Parkside tonight. The women’s game will start at 5:30, and the men’s contest at 7:30.

Both Northern Michigan University hoops teams entertain Purdue Northwest this evening.

Michigan Tech’s Jake Lucchini has been named the Western Collegiate Hockey Association Offensive Player of the Month for November. Lucchini led the league with 13 points. In fact, all of the WCHA’s Players of the Month are from U.P. schools. Northern Michigan’s Atte Tolvanen was named Goaltender of the Month. Lake Superior State’s Collin Saccoman was honored as Defenseman of the Month, and the Lakers’ Jacob Nordqvist was named Rookie of the Month.

NBA
The Detroit Pistons dropped a 115-92 decision to the Milwaukee Bucks last night. Blake Griffin scored 31 points. Ish Smith left the game with a strained right groin muscle. He’ll undergo an MRI today. The Pistons host the Philadelphia 76ers tomorrow night. Pregame coverage begins at 6:35 on 99.3 The Lift.

NHL
The Detroit Red Wings visit the Toronto Maple Leafs this evening.

A day after learning that Anthony Mantha would miss six to eight weeks with a broken hand, the Wings announced that defenseman Danny DeKeyser will miss a similar amount of time. DeKeyser suffered an injury to his left hand when he was hit by a puck in Tuesday’s game.

NFL

MLB
Reliever Louis Coleman is back with the Detroit Tigers. Coleman became a free agent after the Tigers elected not to pursue arbitration with him. He has signed a minor league contract contract. So has former Detroit catcher Bobby Wilson, who played most recently for the Twins.
