The Detroit Pistons’ struggles continued last night with a 121-98 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks. Blake Griffin led Detroit with 29 point and nine rebounds. The Pistons have lost five of their last six games, and visit the Memphis Grizzlies tonight.

NHL
The Detroit Red Wings host the Calgary Flames tonight. Coverage begins at 6:40 on 99.3 The Lift. The Wings will be without defenseman Trevor Daley for as much as five weeks. He suffered a broken foot in practice Monday morning. He joins fellow injured defensemen Mike Green and Danny DeKeyser on the bench. Coach Jeff Blashill said yesterday that neither of them are close to returning.

NFL
The Detroit Lions have fired offensive coordinator Jim Bob Cooter. Cooter was considered a rising star when he took over for Joe Lombardi midway through the 2015 season. The offense flourished for a couple of years, but fell to 25th in the league this season.

With eight NFL head coaching positions vacant, former Packers coach Mike McCarthy is reportedly set to interview with the Cleveland Browns and the New York Jets.
