The Detroit Red Wings suffered their fourth straight loss yesterday, falling to the Minnesota Wild 6-3. Anthony Mantha, Henrik Zetterberg and Andreas Athansiou scored for Detroit. Jared Coreau stopped 24 shots, and took the loss. The Wings host the St. Louis Blues on Wednesday. Faceoff is at 8:00 on AM 1400 and FM 99.3, WCCY.
Detroit forward Thomas Vanek missed yesterday’s game after injuring an ankle in Saturday’s loss to the Blue Jackets. He’s considered day-to-day.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope’s three-pointer with 15 seconds remaining lifted the Detroit Pistons to a 102-101 comeback win over the Toronto Raptors last evening. Detroit erased a 16-point deficit over the final quarter. Tobias Harris led the team with 24 points. The Pistons play at Milwaukee tonight. Tip-off is at 8:00 on AM 1400 and FM 99.3, WCCY.
