In high school boys basketball tonight…

College Football

The University of Michigan and the University of Washington will play for the national college football championship tonight. Kickoff is at 7:30 in Houston.

NHL

Michael Rasmussen’s goal with 67 seconds remaining in regulation gave the Red Wings a 3-2 victory over the Ducks last night. Dylan Larkin and Joe Veleno also scored for Detroit. Alex Lyon made 29 saves.

The Wings will host the Oilers Thursday, with coverage starting at 6:45 on 99.3 The Lift. 

NBA

The Pistons lost to the Nuggets 131-114 last night. Cade Cunningham left the game after 11 minutes with a knee strain. His prognosis is unknown. Jalen Duren scored 20 points, and Alec Burks added 18.

The Pistons welcome the Kings tomorrow. Coverage will begin at 6:35 on 99.3 The Lift.

NFL

In NFL play yesterday…
• The Lions outscored the Vikings 30-20. Jared Goff threw for 320 yards and two touchdowns. One of those scoring passes was to rookie tight end San LaPorta, who later was carted off the field with a knee injury. Initial reports indicate a hyperextension and a bone bruise, and that he will miss some time.
• Jordan Love threw for 316 yards and two touchdowns as the Packers got past the Bears 17-9.
• The Bills scored two fourth quarter touchdowns to sink the Dolphins 21-14 in the Sunday night contest.

The NFC North champion Lions will open the playoffs at home against Matthew Stafford and the Rams Sunday night at 8:00.

The Packers clinched a wild card berth with their win over the Bears, and will open against the Cowboys in Dallas Sunday at 4:30.
