Packers Humble Titans – Monday Sports Wrap

The Michigan Tech hockey team has added another player. Tristan Ashbrook is a center, who is transferring in Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He is immediately eligible for competition. Ashbrook is a Manistique native. Ashbrook played in all 34 games for RPI as a freshman last season. He tallied 13 points with nine goals and four assists. Ashbrook played two seasons with the Lincoln Stars in the USHL before college.

NBA

The Detroit Pistons will visit the Atlanta Hawks tonight. Detroit will play without stars Blake Griffin and Derrick Rose. Both veterans are being rested after playing extended minutes in Saturday’s double-overtime loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers. Center Jahlil Okafor and forward Sekou Doumbouya may also miss tonight’s game, after suffering ankle injuries Saturday. They’ll be reevaluated later today.

The Pistons also signed former New Orleans Pelicans guard Frank Jackson to a two-way contract yesterday.

NFL

The Green Bay Packers cruised past the Tennessee Titans 40-14 at a snowy Lambeau Field last night. Aaron Rodgers threw four touchdown passes. A.J. Dillon ran for 124 yards and two scores.

Tonight, the New England Patriots entertain the Buffalo Bills. Coverage begins at 7:30 on 99.3 The Lift.
