In high school volleyball last night, Ontonagon defeated Dollar Bay-Tamarack City 3-0 (25-19, 25-23, 25-14).
On the high school volleyball schedule tonight…
• Hancock plays at Houghton in the Copper Spike match.
• Lake Linden-Hubbell visits Jeffers.
• L’Anse hosts West Iron County.
• Ewen-Trout Creek visits Wakefield-Marenisco.
The WestPAC volleyball tournament championship Saturday will be a three-team event. Houghton and Calumet will represent the western portion of the conference. Gwinn and Negaunee earned the spots from the eastern portion, but the Miners had to withdraw because of a COVID-19 shutdown. The Modeltowners will face Houghton in the first match at 10:00 at Calumet High School. The second match will pit Gwinn against Calumet. The Copper Kings and Gremlins will play in the final match of the day. Our coverage of all three games will begin at 9:40 on KBear 102.3.

The Rays evened up the World Series at a win per team by defeating the Dodgers 6-4 last evening. Game three will be played tomorrow night.
