The Finlandia women’s team lost 4-0 at Aurora University yesterday.

College Basketball

At the NMU Invitational yesterday…
• The Michigan Tech women’s basketball team outscored William Jewell 75-49 yesterday. Four Huskies reached double figures, led by Sarah Dax with 17 points.
• Northern got past Lewis 61-56 yesterday.

The Finlandia University men’s basketball team lost 106-62 at Carthage College yesterday. B.J. Williams scored 14 for the Lions, who will play at Marian University tonight.

NHL

The Detroit Red Wings visit the Columbus Blue Jackets tonight. Because of NFL football on 99.3 The Lift, coverage will begin at 6:45 on KBear 102.3.

NBA

The Detroit Pistons host the Sacramento Kings tonight.

NFL

The Detroit Lions won’t lose 17 games this season- but, that doesn’t mean they’ll win one. The Lions and the Pittsburgh Steelers played to a sloppy 16-16 tie yesterday. On the positive side, D’Andre Swift rushed for a career-best 130 yards. On the down side, quarterback Jared Goff, playing with a strained oblique, completed just 14 of 25 passes for 125 yards.

A.J. Dillon ran for two fourth-quarter touchdowns, as the Green Bay Packers finally put away the Seattle Seahawks 17-0 yesterday.

The Kansas City Chiefs pounded the Las Vegas Raiders 41-14 in the Sunday night game. 

Tonight, the Los Angeles Rams visit the San Francisco 49ers. Hear the broadcast on 99.3 The Lift.
