MLB – Tigers Shut Out, Brewer’s Streak Ends
Cleveland’s Cody Anderson and Detroit’s Justin Verlander pitched scoreless ball for five innings on Sunday. The Indians broke through for three runs in the sixth, and went on to beat the Tigers 4-0. MTU Soccer Wins
The MTU soccer team scored two early goals, and went on to blank Saint Cloud State 3-0 Sunday afternoon. Lexi Herrewig and Jacqueline Mielke found the net early, and Madeline Faust added a late insurance goal. Kirsten Hudak got the win in net, as the Huskies improved to 1-1 on the season.
