College Basketball

The Michigan Tech men’s basketball team lost 74-56 at Saint Cloud State yesterday. Marcus Tomashek scored 20 points, as the Huskies dropped their fourth straight contest.

The Northern men’s team upended 14th-ranked Minnesota-Duluth 90-76 yesterday.

NHL

The Red Wings host the Maple Leafs tonight. Because of NFL football, coverage will begin at 7:45 on KBear 102.3.

NBA

The Pistons couldn’t hold a late lead, and lost 102-94 to the Cavaliers last evening. Marvin Bagley III led Detroit with 19 points and 10 rebounds.

The Pistons host the Knicks tomorrow night. Coverage begins at 6:35 on 99.3 The Lift.

NFL

The Packers fell to the Eagles 40-33 in the Sunday night game. Aaron Rodgers threw two touchdown passes and two interceptions before leaving with what was initially reported to be an oblique injury. After the game, Rodgers described it as a rib injury. He said initial x-rays couldn’t determine if any were broken, but did show that he had not suffered a punctured lung.

The Steelers visit the Colts tonight. Coverage begins at 7:30 on 99.3 The Lift.
