MLB

The Dodgers have won the National League pennant.

L-A came from behind to edge the Braves 4-3 in the seventh game of the National League Championship series last night. Cody Bellinger’s solo home run in the bottom of the seventh inning was the winning blow.

The Dodgers will face the Marlins in the World Series, beginning tomorrow.

NFL

The Lions routed the Jaguars 34-16 yesterday. D’Andre Swift ran for 116 yard and two touchdowns.

The Buccaneers stunned the Packers 38-10. Green Bay took an early 10-0 lead, but Tampa Bay turned two Aaron Rodgers interceptions into touchdowns early in the second quarter, and added two more touchdowns before halftime to take control.

In last night’s contest, the 49ers outscored the Rams 24-16. 

Tonight, the Bills and Chiefs play a 5:00 game, and the Cardinals and Cowboys play at 8:15. Hear both broadcasts on 99.3 The Lift.

Our high school football coverage continues Friday with three games. Houghton and Hancock fight for the Copper Bowl on 99.3 The Lift. Lake Linden-Hubbell plays at Munising on 97.7 The Wolf. Calumet hosts Marquette on KBear 102.3. Each pregame show will begin at 6:40.

Our high school volleyball coverage will continue Saturday, as Calumet and Houghton vie for the WestPAC title. The broadcast will begin at 9:40 on KBear 102.3.
