NFL

The Lions’ playoff hopes suffered a serious blow yesterday, as Detroit lost 37-23 to the Panthers. Jared Goff threw for 355 yards and three touchdowns, but lost on critical fumble. Carolina shredded the Detroit defense for 320 rushing yards. The Lions can still reach the playoffs, but will need to win their final two games against the Bears and Packers, and get some help from other teams.
