NFL

The Lions scored three first quarter touchdowns, then held on to beat the Saints 33-28 yesterday. Jared Goff threw two touchdown passes, one to tight end Sam LaPorta, who grabbed nine passes for 140 yards on the day.

In last night’s game, the Packers upended the Chiefs 27-19. Jordan Love threw three touchdown passes. Anders Carlson’s two late field goals provided the winning margin, as a final “Hail Mary” pass by Kansas City quarterback Patrick Mahomes was deflected in the end zone.

In tonight’s contest, the Bengals visit the Jaguars. Coverage will start at 7:30 on 99.3 The Lift.
