The Detroit Lions bolstered their offense as the NFL Draft continued last evening. With the 35th overall pick, in the second round, they chose Georgia running back D’Andre Swift, who’s better known for his pass catching than his rushing. In the third round, they added Notre Dame linebacker Julian Okwara, and Ohio State guard Jonah Jackson.
The Green Bay Packers also grabbed a running back in the second round, using the 62nd pick to claim Boston College’s A.J. Dillon. In the third round, they selected Cincinnati tight end Josiah Deguara,
The draft concludes today. Detroit has single picks in the fourth, fifth and sixth rounds. Green Bay has no picks in the fourth round, one in the fifth round, three in the sixth, and two in the seventh.
