NHL

NBA

MLB

The Dodgers advanced to the World Series with a 10-5 victory over the Mets yesterday. L-A takes the National League Championship Series 4-2, and will host the Yankees in game one of the Fall Classic Friday.

NFL

Both the Lions and the Packers used late field goals to close out wins yesterday.

Jake Bates’ 44-yarder with 15 seconds remaining gave the Lions a 31-29 victory over the previously unbeaten Vikings. Jared Goff completed 22 of 25 passes for 280 yards and two touchdowns. Jahmyr Gibbs rushed for 116 yards and two scores.

In his first game as a Packer, Brandon McManus nailed a 45-yarder as time expired to lift the Packers past the Texans 24-22. Jordan Love threw three touchdown passes, but also tossed up two interceptions.

The Steelers routed Aaron Rodgers and the Jets 37-15 last night.
