L’Anse to Name New Field
L'Anse Purple Hornets LogoThe L’Anse School District is looking for a name for its new athletic field. If you have a suggestion, please get it to Superintendent Carrie Meyer by noon on Thursday. The name will be announced at a dedication ceremony Monday evening. The new L’Anse field is the result of a huge community effort. Lights have been installed, and the bleachers from Meadowbrook Field were recently moved to the new site. The first game at the field will be played a week from Thursday against Houghton. We’ll broadcast it on KBear 102.3. You can email name suggestions to cmeyer@laschools.us.
