In high school boys basketball last night…
• The Gwinn game at Houghton was postponed because of snow in the central U.P. It will be made up tonight.
• Ewen-Trout Creek shut down Republic-Michigamme 62-25.
• Dollar Bay-Tamarack City fell to Watersmeet 65-50.
• L’Anse lost to Ironwood 68-30.

In girls play last evening…
• Lake Linden-Hubbell remained unbeaten with a 73-63 victory over Houghton. Emily Jokela led the Lakes with 30 points, and Cleo Milkey added 23. Danica Ryynanen paces the Gremlins with 18 points, and Ellie Hainault had 17.
• Calumet battled past Baraga 39-35. Caitlyn Strom scored 30 for the Copper Kings. Kara Roberts led the Vikings with 15.
• Jeffers stopped Ontonagon 35-20.
• Dollar Bay-Tamarack City outscored Watersmeet 54-29.
• L’Anse fell to Ironwood 49-45.

On the boys schedule tonight…
• Houghton welcomes Gwinn in a make-up of last night’s snow-out.

The Houghton ski team hit the slopes at Marquette Mountain yesterday…
• The boys finished second, with Eli Heathman taking second place in both the giant slalom and slalom. Connor Kamm placed fifth in the giant slalom, and Jack Haeussler fourth in the slalom. See full results here.

The Red Wings will host the Oilers tomorrow, with coverage starting at 6:45 on 99.3 The Lift. 

NBA

The Pistons couldn’t capitalize on an early 20-point lead, and lost to the Kings 131-110 last night. With Cade Cunningham sidelined for at least four games with a knee strain, Bojan Bogdonavic led Detroit with 26 points.
