The Mid-Eastern Conference champion Lake Linden-Hubbell Lakes dominated the league’s All-Star Team, which was announced late Monday.
Brendan Middleton and Newberry’s John Paramski shared Offensive Back of the Year honors. The Lakes’ Stephen Dudenas was named Offensive Lineman of the Year. Andy Crouch was selected as Coach of the Year for leading the team to its second straight undefeated regular season.
The all-conference offense includes Lincoln Klein at tight end, Dudenas at tackle, Peter Heikkinen at guard, Jason Sutherland at center, and Middleton at running back. Honorable mention votes went to Aaron Hainault at running back, Heikkinen as kicker, and Middleton as return specialist. The first team defense includes Klein at end, Dudenas on the interior line, Steven Suhonen at linebacker, and Middleton at defensive back. Dominic Wagner received honorable mention votes as punter.
