NFL

The NFL has fined the Green Bay Packers and two players for COVID-19 violations. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers and receiver Allen Lazard will pay $14,650 each for attending a Halloween party. League protocols prohibit unvaccinated players from gathering outside of team facilities in a group of more than three players. The team will have to cough up $300,000. League officials say officials became aware of the violation, but did not report it, nor did they discipline Rodgers or Lazard. The league also noted other situations in which Rodgers should have worn a mask, but didn’t. Future violations by the team could result in a loss of draft choices.
