Ketzenberger Claims Canal Run Half Marathon – Sunday Sports Wrap

MLB

Jake Rogers’ grand slam powered a six-run sixth inning, as the Tigers defeated the Bue Jays 7-3 Saturday. The celebration was muted, though, after starting pitcher Reese Olson left the game after the second inning with a sore shoulder. He’ll return to Detroit for evaluation today.

The Tigers have won 10 of their last 12 games, and visit the Blue Jays again today. Keider Montero will pitch against Kevin Gausman. Coverage will begin at 1:10 on 99.3 The Lift.

The Brewers plated five runs in the 12th inning, and held on to defeat the Twins 8-4 Saturday. The game was tied 1-1 at the end of regulation. After a scoreless 10th, each team scored twice in the 11th. Milwaukee’s 11th-inning outburst started with a Joey Ortiz sacrifice fly, and concluded with RBI singles from Jackson Chourio, Brice Turang and William Contreras. Each team used seven pitchers in the game.

The Brewers play at Minnesota. Aaron Civale will start against Joe Ryan.
